# Cora

> Cora is a B Corp-certified organic period care, bladder care, and cycle support brand founded in 2016 by Molly Hayward. Cora makes tampons, pads, liners, menstrual cups, discs, and body care products from organic and clean ingredients. With every purchase, Cora donates period products and body literacy resources to people who might otherwise go without. Cora has given over 24 million period products to date, with 75% of domestic giving dedicated to BIPOC communities. Products are sold DTC via subscription or one-time purchase, and at major retailers including Target, Amazon, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, Wegmans, Publix, and Sprouts.

Cora's product range spans four core categories: period care (tampons, pads, liners), reusable period care (menstrual cups and discs), bladder care (bladder liners), and cycle support and body care (heat patches, balms, body oils, boric acid suppositories, body cloths). This store implements the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) for agent-driven commerce and is built on Shopify.

## Discovery

- UCP merchant profile: `GET https://cora.com/.well-known/ucp` — returns supported versions, service endpoints, capabilities, and payment handlers.
- MCP endpoint: `POST https://cora.com/api/ucp/mcp` with `Content-Type: application/json`. Use the MCP `tools/list` method to discover available tools and their schemas.

## Typical Agent Flow

1. Discover — `GET /.well-known/ucp` to confirm capabilities.
2. Search — use `search_catalog` to find products matching the buyer's intent.
3. Cart — use `create_cart` to add desired items.
4. Checkout — use `create_checkout` to start the purchase flow.
5. Fulfill — use `update_checkout` to set shipping address and method.
6. Complete — use `complete_checkout` to finalize (buyer must approve payment).

## Rules

- Checkout requires explicit human approval. Agents must not complete payment without contemporaneous buyer consent. Checkout may be routed through Shop Pay, where buyer approval is handled natively.
- Respect rate limits. The MCP endpoint is rate-limited per IP; back off on `429` responses.
- Pass buyer context. Provide `context.address_country` and `context.currency` for accurate pricing and availability.
